Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the equipment operation problems, implementing of the additional functionality, replacement of outdated components with the modern series of the equipment, including the main drive of a Cut-Size Sheeter.

Total duration of the project - 6 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 10 days. PLC – Simotion 435-2 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, motors – Siemens 1FK7, quantity of axes - 7.

                           



2017: Cut-Size Sheeter SKL 470 U
Manufacturer: E.C.H Will. - Germany

Task: replacement of an outdated main drive of a Cut-Size Sheeter with the modern series of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality. Implementing of the diagnostics and testing functionality.

Total duration of the project - 5 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 5 days. Drive system – Sinamics S120, motor – Siemens 1PH8, quantity of axes - 1.

The trouble-free operation of the machine was successfully achieved, the new functionality allows operational personnel to perform fast diagnostics of the equipment. As the side-effect the energy consumption was reduced. Along with this, due to use of the modern equipment, problems with spare parts supply and ensuring expeditious replacement by a case of failure of the equipment were solved.


2016: Cut-Size Packaging Machin Model 34 Ream Wrapper (two units)
Manufacturer: Pemco - USA

The equipment was dismantled and transported from the foreign paper mill in Scotland in 2011.
In Scotland the equipment was on operation since 1985.
Erected, assembled and started in operation in Russia in 2012.

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality, replacement of outdated components with the modern series of the equipment.

Total duration of the project - 4 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 5 days. PLC – Simotion 425-2 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, motors – Siemens 1FK7, quantity of axes - 3.

The trouble-free operation of the machine was successfully achieved, the new functionality was implemented.

As the side-effect the energy consumption was reduced (measured with Siemens Sentron before and after) in three times.


2016: Pellet press Pellet Mill серия 7900
Manufacturer: CPM Europe B.V. – Netherlands

Task: replacement of the failed pellet press manufactured by AMANDUS KAHL, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, integration of the new equipment into the existing production line.

Manufacturer: Pemco - USA

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality, replacement of outdated components with the modern series of the equipment.

2014: Chocolate production line C&M Multicavemil 1200 
Manufacturer: Carle&Montanari – Italy

The main reason the customer decides to make an upgrade of this production line were systematically arising difficulties with its service, serious problems arising every time at start of the line after power loss, mistiming of axes when pressing alarm buttons or just at planned power off, lack of a possibility of entering of expeditious changes into the PLC program code and consequently – lack of an opportunity to develop a system.

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality.

Total duration of the project – 6 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 14 days. PLC – Simotion 455 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, quantity of axes - 54.


2013: Cut-Size Packaging Machin Model 39S Ream Wrapper.
Manufacturer: Pemco - USA

Task: development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality, replacement of outdated components with the modern series of the equipment. This project was performed under expert control by Siemens AG (Germany).

Total duration of the project - 6 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 6 days. PLC – Simotion 445 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, motors – Siemens 1FK7, quantity of axes - 16.

The trouble-free operation of the machine was successfully achieved, the new functionality was implemented. As the side-effect the energy consumption was reduced.

                        


2012: Veneer scarfing line.
Manufacturer: Corvallis Tool Company (CTC) – USA

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality (scarfing quality analysis and real-time parameters adjustment).

Total duration of the project - 5 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 14 days. PLC – Simotion 425 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, quantity of axes - 16.

As the result the required accuracy was achieved, the equipment operation speed increased up to 25%, with the new Operator Panel the control over machine became much more easier and user friendly.


2011-2012: Veneer peeling line.
Manufacturer: USNR COE - USA

Unique equipment by the principles of operation and it’s productivity. Exclusively high-quality mechanical execution, at the same time obvious defects in the energy efficiency and control systems. Complexity of service of the installed control systems with operating conditions in Russia due to the lack of specialists in these types of the PLCs and other electrical components.

The line was commissioned and was in operation within one year. By results of operation it was revealed a number of the problems which are seriously preventing effective use of the equipment: systematic failures in work of the equipment, unpredictable and uncontrollable changes of accuracy of cutting of format sheets, ambiguous behavior of the

defectoscope, very high energy consumption, difficulties with achievement of the set productivity parameters.

The required accuracy of cutting to size of format sheets was reached, positioning on all equipment was improved, with the new Operator Panel the control over machine became much more easier and user friendly. As the result the designed operation capacity of the equipment was achieved.


2011: Tea-bag packaging machine.
Manufacturer: IMA - Italy

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality

Total duration of the project - 3 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) – 6 days. PLC – Simotion 425 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, quantity of axes - 8.


2010: Veneer Lay-up Line with Layup Forks.
Manufacturer: Corvallis Tool Company (CTC) – USA

Unique equipment by the principles of operation and it’s productivity. Manufactured exclusively by Corvallis Tool Company. At the time of project only two operating lines in the world.

Task: full re-engineering, development of a new PLC program and Operator Panel, elimination of the problems in operation of the equipment, implementing of the additional functionality (double-layer packet forming, precise positioning and aligning system, advanced glue application system)

Total duration of the project - 7 months, installation and commissioning (the full stop of the equipment) - 14 days. PLC – Simotion 445 DP/PN, drive system – Sinamics S120, quantity of axes - 44.

The required accuracy of sheets positioning was achieved, positioning on all equipment was improved, with the new Operator Panel the control over machine became much more easier and user friendly. As the result the designed operation capacity of the equipment was achieved.
